CHRIS NEEDHAM
Director: Mortgage & Protection Adviser
After a 20 year career in Supply Chain Management within the FMCG industry, Chris decided he was ready for a change of direction and qualified as a Mortgage & Protection Adviser. Chris joined the firm in 2016 opening up the firm’s Yorkshire offices in Leeds. When not helping clients in Leeds Chris spends his time with his two young sons, or watching Ipswich Town!
BEN NEEDHAM
Director, Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Ben established B R Needham (Financial Services) Ltd in 1990 after several years working for mortgage brokers in London and Hertford. Ben was retained for fifteen years by one of Britain’s largest house builders to provide mortgage advice to their prospective purchasers, but in 2005 decided to concentrate on the servicing of his existing clients and new clients who have been recommended to him.
Working from an office near Woodbridge on the Suffolk coast, clients can have ‘face to face’ appointments or advice can be provided remotely.
When not advising Ben is often walking across the fields or along the coast with wife Mary and Tara the Border Terrier or tinkering under the bonnet of his Lotus Elan classic car and of course supporting Ipswich Town Football Club.
MARY NEEDHAM
Company Secretary
Mary previously worked in solicitors’ offices in East Anglia. dealing mainly with conveyancing and has a vast knowledge of the house purchasing legal process which is often of assistance to the team.
Mary was born on the west coast of Ireland and enjoys horse racing, classic car shows, cooking, anything to do with dogs, walking in the countryside, being near the sea and of course returning to Ireland when possible.
Sophie Leech
Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Sophie has over 10 years experience in the Financial Services industry, having previously been employed as a Mortgage Advisor with First Direct. We’re delighted that Sophie has agreed to join us as a Mortgage & Protection Advisor – her experience, knowledge & enthusiasm will ensure that we can help even more clients.
When not helping clients with their mortgage and protection needs, Sophie likes spending time with her family, socialising with her friends and watching Leeds united!
